Na vetrom ošľahanom ostrove Mure, kde sa blížia Vianoce, sledujeme Floru, ktorej neplánované tehotenstvo so starým šéfom naruší každodennú harmóniu, a lekára Sajfa, utečenca, ktorý zažíva prvé Vianoce na Západe a postráda manželku. Kniha má krásnu a lákavú obálku, no recenzentka varuje, že to nie je typický sladký "hallmarkovský" feel‑good príbeh, ale skôr melancholické a vážne čítanie. Autorkin štýl — striedanie dlhých kvetnatých viet s krátkymi jednoslovnými dialógmi — recenzentke nesadol a navyše ide o tretí diel série, takže čitateľovi chýbajú súvislosti. Do krátkeho príbehu autorka natlačila mnohé ťažké témy (neliečiteľná choroba, psychické problémy, prisťahovalecké ťažkosti, tehotenské dilemy), a podľa recenzie nie je vhodný pre tých, ktorí hľadajú pri Vianociach ľahké, útulné čítanie.
