Román Za hranice snov od Rebeccy Yarros je tretím dielom série Vzostupy a pády a sleduje poručíka Graysona Mastera, ktorý sa pripravuje na pilotný výcvik Apache, a jeho novú spolubývajúcu Sam, medzi ktorými sa rodí iskrenie, hoci oboch ťažia tajomstvá z minulosti a profesionálne povinnosti. Autorka, ktorá má manžela profesionálneho vojaka a evidentnú slabosť pre vojenských hrdinov, ponúka intenzívne nasadené vojenské scény, striedanie pohľadov postáv a dynamiku príbehu. Recenzentka vyzdvihuje Saminu zraniteľnosť a snahu napraviť chyby, kritizuje však opakujúce sa konverzácie či scény; výsledkom je podľa nej napínavý, romantický a emotívny román, ktorý sa dá čítať aj samostatne. Čítanie si užila a už teraz je zvedavá na ďalšiu časť série.

Rebecca Yarros v románe Beyond What is Given (3. diel série Flight & Glory) sleduje poručíka Graysona, ktorý sa počas výcviku zblázni do svojej novej spolubývajúcej Sam, pričom medzi nimi prekvitá vášnivý, no komplikovaný vzťah plný tajomstiev. Recenzentka hodnotí knihu 2/5 a obálku 3/5. Hlavné výhrady sú neuveriteľná a prirýchla romantika, nesúrodé postavy a ťahaný dej v prvých dvoch tretinách s množstvom klišé, hoci záver autorka zvládla lepšie a obsahuje niekoľko prekvapení. Knihu možno čítať aj ako standalone, pričom autorka jemne prepletá postavy naprieč sériou.
