Harry Potter a Kámen mudrců je první díl sedmidílné série J. K. Rowlingové: sleduje chlapce, který až ve jedenácti zjistí, že je čaroděj, nastoupí do Školy čar a kouzel v Bradavicích, získá přátele, naučí se famfrpál a postaví se ve sporu o Kámen mudrců s Voldemortem. Ke 25. výročí vyšlo u Albatrosu nové české vydání s minimalistickými obálkami; recenzentka oceňuje design, ale vytýká, že uvnitř je jen pár (pouze čtyři) nových ilustrací a že je vnitřek příliš suchý pro dětskou knihu. Navzdory současným kontroverzím kolem autorky recenzentka Rowlingovou chválí, knihu zbožňuje, dává jí 5 hvězdiček a těší se, až ji předá své dceři; děkuje Albatrosu za recenzní výtisk.
