Barbarská orkyně Viv odhodí zbraně a v městě Thune otevře kavárnu, kolem níž se točí celý příběh. Recenzentka knihu hodnotí jako strašně nudnou a plochou, bez výrazného napětí a překvapení. Vývoj postav je minimální, čtenář si k nim nedokáže vytvořit vztah, takže knihu doporučuje jen pro fanoušky pomalých feel-good příběhů. Dala jí 2 hvězdičky a zatím nemá ambice se k dalším dílům vracet, i když autor chystá pokračování.
