Na vianočnom behu jeden bežec zomrie a Eleanor začne podozrievať vraždu, keď nájde podozrivý kľúč; neskôr sa objavia otravy farárovi a jeho domácej a na ňu samotnú nastražia jedovité bobule. Autorka recenzie knihu hodnotí 4/5 (obálka 3/5), upozorňuje na pomalší rozbeh, ale chváli suchý anglický humor, postavu Clifforda a romantickú linku, a vidí ju ako vítanú alternatívu k temným detektívkam.
