Kniha The Ever Queen od L.J. Andrews je druhý díl série Věčná moře (new adult/fantasy) a pokračuje v příběhu mořských fae, pirátů a magie. Děj nabízí střídání pohledů mezi pevninskými královstvími a tajemným mizícím ostrovem, s krutými bojovými scénami, lehkými erotickými pasážemi a napětím až do konce, přičemž atmosféra má „Piráty z Karibiku“ s náznaky vikingské inspirace. Recenzentka knihu četla raději v originále a byla spokojená — ocenila, že autorka se drží příběhu a připravuje půdu pro další díly (údajně celkem 6), shrnula ji 4 hvězdičkami a těší se na pokračování o Jonasovi a Mire.
