Kniha má svižné tempo, plno akcie, vzbúr a súbojov, pričom atmosféra, kde nikto nie je v bezpečí, čitateľa okamžite vtiahne do deja. Silné sú témy priateľstva a lojalita medzi Skandarovou skupinkou a zaujímavým spestrením sú aj kapitolky z pohľadu Kenny, ktoré rozširujú perspektívu. Recenzentka ju nevedela pustiť z rúk a ostal jej veľký záujem o ďalšie diely — koniec nepredýchala.
