Britská spisovateľka Alice Feeney sa po debute potvrdila ako majsterka psychologických trilerov aj v knihe Kameň papier nožnice, ktorá čitateľa drží napätím a prekvapivými zvratmi. Dej sleduje manželov Ameliu a Adama Wrightovcov, ktorí na odľahlom škótskom vidieku skúšajú zachrániť manželstvo; Adam trpí tvárovou slepotou a Amelia má vlastné tajomstvá, pričom autorka využíva striedanie pohľadov, krátke kapitoly a listy na postupné odhaľovanie klamstiev. Kniha kombinuje izolované škótske prostredie, dusnú vzťahovú drámu a psychologické hrotenie atmosféry, ktoré v závere čitateľa prinajmenšom raz prekvapí.

Kniha „Kameň papier nožnice“ od Alice Feeney je strhujúci thriller o manželoch Adamovi a Amelii, kde Adam trpí tvárovou slepotou a víkendový pobyt v Škótsku — ktorý vyhrali — má buď obnoviť ich vzťah, alebo ho definitívne rozbiť, pretože jeden z nich klame a okolo nich je množstvo tajomstiev. Recenzentke sa kniha veľmi páčila: pútala ju atmosféra, autorka priniesla prekvapujúci zásadný zvrat a hoci záver jej prišiel miestami prehnaný, celkový dojem bol pozitívny (a áno, pes prežije).
