Príbeh sleduje ambicióznu novinárku Joannu Haslamovú, ktorá pátra po záhadnom liste po sir Jamesovi Harrisonovi a ocitá sa v konflikte s mocenskými kruhmi a intrigami. Recenzentka oceňuje silnú ženskú hrdinku a nenásilný štýl písania, no upozorňuje na rozsiahle kapitoly a miestami výplňové pasáže, ktoré znižujú dynamiku.
