Kniha Five Broken Blades (Mai Corland, CooBoo 2025) sleduje päť najnebezpečnejších klamárov, ktorí sa spoja s jediným cieľom: zabiť kráľa Joona, pričom každý z nich má vlastný dôvod a korunu môže získať len jeden. Recenzentke spočiatku prekážal pomalší rozbeh kvôli väčšiemu počtu hlavných postáv, no hneď ako sa postavy stretli a začali realizovať svoj plán, nechcelo sa jej od príbehu odchádzať. Každá postava je odlišná, vzájomná nedôvera a postupné odhaľovanie minulosti vedú k prekvapivému a miestami šokujúcemu záveru, ktorý autorka pekne vyskladala a sľubuje akciou nabité pokračovanie. Fantasy prvkov je málo, ale môžu zamiešať karty v ďalších dieloch; recenzentka knihe udelila 4,5*/5* a obálke 5*/5* a odporúča ju čitateľom, ktorí majú radi partičky elitných zabijakov a zlodejov.
